capital dance project is proud to expand our community outreach efforts with our
Sensory Friendly Dance Classes
artists of cdp will lead 12 introductory dance classes for individuals with autism or other sensory related disabilities. the classes focus on creative movement, light stretching, and above all else, allowing students to experience the freeing movement of dance in a non-judgmental environment.
behavior therapists will be on hand to assist the classes, as well as our friends & special guests the Sacramento Kings Dancers!
2019 sensory friendly classes will be held at
Step One Dance & Fitness Studios
every sunday from july 21 - august 11
12-12:45pm: 5-10 years of age
1-1:45pm: 11-17 years of age
2-2:45pm 18 & up

*No additional fees and free parking included. Register in advance or in person before class time begins. Fidget toys, noise canceling headphones, stress balls, and bean bag chairs are provided to help ensure the classes are welcoming and comfortable for all students.
