Meet the Filmmaker
Natalie Manning is a local Sacramento artist specializing in the production of high quality visual media from film to print. In the business of making pictures for over eight years now, Natalie has a unique insight into what connects with people and how to share real stories earnestly. Her favorite projects are those that combine real humans doing real good in their community with the support of major organizations that magnify the impact of that work many times over.
Along with commercial work, Natalie collaborates with local artists, musicians, and dancers to produce content that lifts everyone's spirit - whatever their class, creed, color, gender, sexuality, or otherwise. Sacramento is a vibrant community to which Natalie is grateful to belong.
Having found her passion late in life after a series of (mis)adventures, Natalie is consumed with creating and living in order to better herself and the world around her - learning what that might mean a little more every day. Her secret/not-so-secret, passion is making photographs of the majestic world in which we live, hoping to remind all who view them that we are all one - with each other, and our planet.
This is Natalie's 5th year collaborating with Capital Dance Project. For those who have attended CDP's annual Behind the Barre performances, you will remember her work from the stunning introductory films shown before each piece.
