CDP's 2018 End of Year Giving Campaign:
Capital Dance Project's goal is to raise $5,000 by December 31st to kickstart our 5th Year Anniversary 2019 programming. We have exciting plans for next year, but we need your help to get there.
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous CDP donor, the first $1,000 raised will be matched, so we are already off to a great start!
A donation of any amount helps us provide more children, artists, and adults the opportunity to experience the transformative power of dance.

California Arts Council awards CDP a Local Impact Grant!
Capital Dance Project is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a $9,000 Local Impact Grant from the California Arts Council! Thanks to their generous support, we were able to expand our community outreach efforts with our Sensory Friendly Dance Program designed specifically for individuals with autism, or other special needs, to enjoy the hope and joy of dance in a safe and inclusive environment. In 2018, CDP produced two Sensory Friendly Dance Performances at the Crocker Art Museum, and seven Sensory Friendly Dance Classes at the CLARA Auditorium, giving individuals with autism, and their families, unprecedented access to dance.
