JAIME ORREGO

Member of CDP since 2016

​Although born in the LA area, Jaime spent the majority of his influential years in Washington D.C. His passion for dance began at the Virginia Ballet Company, while under the guidance of Dina Fadeyeva, before continuing his training at The Rock School for Dance Education & later Shenandoah University. Mr. Orrego is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts & had the opportunity to perform internationally in Austria in a performance of Franz Joseph Haydn’s The Seasons - choreographed by Mary Margaret Holt & Ilya Kozadayev.

Jaime performed professionally with the Sacramento Ballet, dancing in the works of Ashley Walton, Gabrielle Lamb, Ron Cunningham, Gerlad Arpino & Stephanie Martinez.  Jaime has also delved into the choreographic realm, showcases his unique style in two pieces for the company’s popular ‘Beer & Ballet’ program: Sparks (2017) Smoke (2016).

​Jaime also lends his incredible talent to the CDP costume shop - aiding in design, collaboration & costume construction for the company dancers. Additionally, Jaime has had the privilege of working in the costume department of Sacramento Music Circus & B Street Theater.
