about
Figs and Feathers crafts small batch, farm-fresh skincare and provisions. We aim to bring comfort and joy back to the rituals of bathing, specializing in soaps, soaks, and salves containing only the highest-quality ingredients. We are proud to include locally sourced herbs, plants, and oils from our beautiful state of California in each of our products. Living in one of the most abundant, agriculturally rich areas of the United States, we are fortunate to have access to bountiful harvests year-round, and much of our inspiration comes from our close community of growers.
Meghan Wright began her career as a credentialed California educator, but in 2013 diverted her energies away from teaching and into owning and operating her small business, Figs and Feathers Farm. For nearly 15 years prior, Meghan spent much of her downtime creating, crafting and experimenting in her tiny galley kitchen in Northern California. It was here that Meghan unveiled the intricacies of soapmaking, the secret lives of plants, and the helping hands of family and friends. Since then, Meghan's work has been featured in Sactown Magazine, The Sacramento Bee, on Good Day Sacramento, and was picked up by the West Elm LOCAL program within the state of California.
