DOMINIQUE WENDT

Dominique was born in San Francisco, and grew up just east of the city in Concord, CA where she started her extensive dance training. She received her ballet education at Contra Costa Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, BalletMet Academy & Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School before beginning her professional ballet career at the Sacramento Ballet in 2017. Between rehearsals, Dominique can often be seen leisurely reading or catching up on schoolwork as she is currently working towards her BA through the St. Mary’s LEAP program for professional artists. She has appeared in Sacramento Ballet’s productions of Giselle, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Donizetti Variations, Theme & Variations, Ron Cunningham’s Carmina Burana & within various roles of The Nutcracker.

Dominique enjoys spending her free time exploring the outdoors & most significantly: cheering on her favorite hockey team – GO CAPS!
