CASEY LIPKA

​Casey Lipka is a vocalist, bassist & teaching artist based in Sacramento. Described as “an emerging talent” with “a lush, textured, & organic listen that’s all too easy to become infatuated with“. Casey blends elements of pop, jazz, classical, & folk to create a unique sound. She performs locally leading her band as well as accompanies groups Sonic Drift, One Button Suit, Camellia Symphony, Ron Cuhna Big Band & Sacramento Women’s Chorus. She recently toured with the rock band CAKE.
 As a teaching artist, she leads music classes throughout Sacramento City Unified School District & directs a children’s choir, “The Singing Cubs,” at Crocker Riverside Elementary School. She has opened for world renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma & saxophonist Kamasi Washington. Previous collaborations include: TEDX Sacramento, Classical Revolution Sacramento, California Stage, NAMM Mainstage, Art Street, Cal Expo State Fair Music, Infinite Motion Dance Company, Take Back the Night, Loaves & Fishes, Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy, Joe Kye/Joseph in the Well, Cave Women, The Commons Quartet & Current Personae.
