Capital Dance Project has come a long way since our inception in 2015, but one thing remains the same - passionate and innovative dance performances supported by our fantastic community.
Join Our End of Year Giving Campaign! Help us raise $5,000 between Tuesday November 28th-December 31st 2017 so we can continue to create diverse and inclusive performances for our community. The first $1,000 donated will be matched dollar-for-dollar! Make your gift go twice as far this Holiday Season. Learn more.
CDP collaborator Michael Vester Awarded a City Grant We are thrilled that former Sacramento Ballet dancer and CDP collaborator Michael Vester has been among the first awarded a $5,000 grant from the City of Sacramento as part of the Creative Economy Pilot Project. This prestigious award will kick start Michael's innovative G.R.O.U.N.D. project aimed to make dance more accessible and engaging through the use of interactive technology. CDP is excited to collaborate with Michael on G.R.O.U.N.D. as it will enable us to take our performances into any space and help us to continue to grow our outreach and education programs.
