Helpful Information & FAQ
Parking: Limited parking will be available on the 25th Street side of CLARA’s parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis. Street parking is also available throughout the surrounding Midtown neighborhood. We strongly recommend arriving early or using a rideshare service such as Lyft or Uber.
Food Trucks: Both performance nights will include food-truck service during the pre-performance Maker’s Market from 6:30–8:00 PM and during intermission. This year's food truck line-up: Santacos & Hefty Gyros.
Picnic Seating: What to Expect
We’re transforming CLARA’s outdoor space to bring a relaxed, lawn-style festival seating experience to Midtown! Picnic seating is located on a large faux-grass area with comfortable commercial padding underneath, creating a cushioned place to settle in and enjoy the performance.
Picnic Seating is sold out for Closing Night, so please plan for a full and lively lawn! We ask guests to keep blankets and picnic setups compact and be mindful of space for your neighbors.
Please bring a blanket, picnic cushion, or low-profile lawn chair. Low-back chairs are welcome as long as the seat height is 9 inches or less. Guests with lawn chairs will be asked to set up toward the back of the picnic area to help maintain clear sightlines for guests seated on blankets and cushions.
Picnic Seating guests are also welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
Our team will be available to help everyone find a spot and get settled. Thank you for helping us create a welcoming lawn-style experience for a full house!

*Due to unexpected site-specific permitting limitations at our original location, we are no longer able to present this year’s festival at The Red Museum as planned. We are immensely grateful to The Red Museum and the artists who call it home for helping Behind the Barre grow into the outdoor festival it is today, and to CLARA for welcoming us on short notice.
