Capital Dance Project was founded in 2015 by a collective of Sacramento Ballet dancers following an unexpected shift in their performance season. What began as an opportunity for artists to independently produce and present new choreographic works quickly evolved into an ongoing collaborative platform for original creation, shared leadership, and community engagement.
